2.1 Dati di navigazione (log del server)
Il sito è ospitato su GitHub Pages, servizio di GitHub, Inc. Come ogni server web, l'infrastruttura di GitHub registra automaticamente alcuni dati tecnici a ogni richiesta: indirizzo IP, tipo di browser e sistema operativo, data e ora, pagina richiesta ed eventuale pagina di provenienza.
Questi dati servono a erogare il sito e a garantirne la sicurezza. La base giuridica è il legittimo interesse a mantenere il servizio funzionante e protetto da abusi, ai sensi dell'art. 6.1.f del GDPR.
È importante essere precisi su un punto: GitHub Pages non mette a disposizione del titolare i log di accesso. Il titolare quindi non consulta, non conserva e non elabora questi dati, che restano trattati da GitHub secondo la propria informativa.
2.2 Posizione geografica
La pagina calcola la posizione reale di sole, luna, stelle e pianeti per un punto sulla Terra. Di default usa Santa Maddalena, in Val di Funes.
Se vuoi vedere il cielo dalla tua posizione puoi premere il pulsante "Usa la mia posizione" nel pannello delle coordinate. Solo a quel punto il browser ti chiede il permesso, e solo se lo concedi la pagina ottiene le tue coordinate. La base giuridica è il tuo consenso, ai sensi dell'art. 6.1.a del GDPR, che puoi revocare in qualsiasi momento dalle impostazioni del browser.
Le coordinate vengono usate esclusivamente all'interno della pagina, nel tuo dispositivo, per calcolare le posizioni astronomiche. Non vengono inviate ad alcun server, né al titolare né a terzi, non vengono salvate e scompaiono quando chiudi o ricarichi la pagina. Puoi verificarlo: il codice della pagina è pubblico e non contiene alcuna chiamata di rete che trasmetta le tue coordinate.
Puoi anche impostare coordinate a mano o scegliere una località dall'elenco, senza concedere alcun permesso.
2.3 Preferenza di lingua
La scelta della lingua viene riportata nell'indirizzo della pagina, come parametro ?lang=en. Non viene salvata da nessuna parte e non è associata a te.

Questo sito non installa cookie, di alcun tipo, né propri né di terze parti.
Le uniche informazioni salvate sul tuo dispositivo sono tre valori in localStorage, che ricordano scelte tue sull'aspetto della pagina:

Contengono soltanto un sì o un no, non un identificatore: restano nel tuo browser, non vengono trasmessi a nessuno e puoi cancellarli dalle impostazioni del browser. Sono preferenze tecniche necessarie a fornire il sito nel modo in cui lo hai richiesto, quindi non richiedono consenso.
Non ci sono pixel di tracciamento, tag manager o font caricati da domini esterni. L'unico script di terze parti è quello delle statistiche descritto al punto 4, che non usa cookie né alcuna forma di memorizzazione sul tuo dispositivo.
Per questa ragione non trovi alcun banner di consenso: non essendoci nulla da autorizzare, un banner sarebbe solo un fastidio inutile.
4. Statistiche di visita e profilazione
La scena e la guida contano le visite tramite GoatCounter, un servizio di statistiche che non usa cookie e non salva nulla sul tuo dispositivo. Le pagine legali, questa informativa e la licenza, non lo caricano affatto.
A ogni visita vengono registrati la pagina aperta, l'eventuale pagina di provenienza, il paese ricavato dall'indirizzo IP, il browser, il sistema operativo e la larghezza dello schermo. Il titolare vede soltanto numeri aggregati, del tipo "oggi la guida è stata aperta 40 volte, 12 dall'Italia".
L'indirizzo IP e il tipo di browser non vengono conservati. Servono unicamente a capire se due visualizzazioni ravvicinate vengono dalla stessa persona: restano in forma trasformata nella memoria del servizio per un massimo di otto ore e non finiscono in alcun archivio. Non viene creato alcun identificatore che ti segua tra una visita e l'altra, né tra siti diversi.
La base giuridica è il legittimo interesse del titolare a sapere se e quanto le pagine vengono lette, ai sensi dell'art. 6.1.f del GDPR. Poiché la misurazione non accede né memorizza informazioni sul tuo dispositivo, non ricade nell'obbligo di consenso previsto per i cookie e le tecnologie analoghe.
Non viene svolta alcuna attività di profilazione e non esistono processi decisionali automatizzati che ti riguardino.

6. Trasferimenti fuori dall'Unione Europea
GitHub, Inc. ha sede negli Stati Uniti e può trattare i dati di navigazione anche al di fuori dello Spazio Economico Europeo. Tali trasferimenti avvengono sulla base delle garanzie previste dal Capo V del GDPR, in particolare le clausole contrattuali tipo adottate dalla Commissione Europea e l'adesione del gruppo Microsoft al EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
I dati delle statistiche di visita non lasciano invece lo Spazio Economico Europeo: l'infrastruttura di GoatCounter si trova presso Hetzner Online GmbH, in Finlandia e in Germania.
7. Conservazione
Il titolare non conserva alcun dato che ti identifichi. Le statistiche di visita restano disponibili in forma aggregata nel pannello di GoatCounter, e i dati che permetterebbero di risalire a una singola visita vengono scartati entro otto ore, come descritto al punto 4. I tempi di conservazione dei log tecnici sono determinati da GitHub secondo la propria informativa.
8. I tuoi diritti
In base agli articoli da 15 a 22 del GDPR hai diritto di chiedere l'accesso ai tuoi dati, la loro rettifica o cancellazione, la limitazione del trattamento, la portabilità, e di opporti al trattamento fondato sul legittimo interesse.
Puoi esercitare questi diritti scrivendo a privacy@codingful.com. Tieni presente che, non conservando il titolare alcun dato che ti riguardi, in molti casi la risposta consisterà nel confermare l'assenza di dati.

2. Data processed
2.1 Browsing data (server logs)
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. Like any web server, GitHub's infrastructure automatically records technical data with each request: IP address, browser and operating system, date and time, the page requested and the referring page, if any.
This data serves to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in keeping the service running and protected from abuse, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
One point deserves precision: GitHub Pages does not give the controller access to these logs. The controller therefore never reads, stores or processes them; they remain with GitHub under its own privacy statement.
2.2 Location
The page computes the real position of the sun, the moon, the stars and the planets for a point on Earth. It defaults to Santa Maddalena, in Val di Funes.
If you want the sky as seen from where you are, press "Use my location" in the coordinates panel. Only then does the browser ask your permission, and only if you grant it does the page receive your coordinates. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time in your browser settings.
The coordinates are used solely inside the page, on your own device, to compute the astronomy. They are sent to no server, neither to the controller nor to anyone else, are never saved, and are gone when you close or reload the page. You can check this yourself: the page's source is public and contains no network call that would send your coordinates anywhere.
You can also type coordinates by hand or pick a place from the list, granting no permission at all.
2.3 Language preference
Your language choice is carried in the page address as a ?lang=en parameter. It is stored nowhere and tied to no one.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
This site sets no cookies of any kind, first or third party.
The only things saved on your device are three localStorage values, remembering choices you made about how the page looks:

They hold a yes or a no, not an identifier: they stay in your browser, are sent to no one, and you can clear them from your browser settings. They are technical preferences needed to deliver the site the way you asked for it, so they require no consent.
There are no tracking pixels, tag managers or fonts loaded from outside domains. The only third-party script is the analytics one described in section 4, which uses no cookies and no storage of any kind on your device.
That is why you see no consent banner: with nothing to authorise, a banner would be pure nuisance.
4. Visit statistics and profiling
The scene and the guide count visits through GoatCounter, an analytics service that sets no cookies and saves nothing on your device. The legal pages, this notice and the licence, do not load it at all.
Each visit records the page opened, the referring page if any, the country derived from the IP address, the browser, the operating system and the screen width. The controller sees aggregate numbers only, of the kind "the guide was opened 40 times today, 12 of them from Italy".
The IP address and the browser type are not retained. They serve only to tell whether two nearby pageviews come from the same person: they stay in the service's memory in transformed form for at most eight hours and reach no archive. No identifier is created that would follow you from one visit to the next, or across sites.
The legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest in knowing whether and how much these pages are read, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Since the measurement neither accesses nor stores information on your device, it does not fall under the consent requirement that applies to cookies and similar technologies.
No profiling is carried out, and there is no automated decision-making concerning you.

There are no other recipients. No data is shared, sold or disclosed to third parties.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
GitHub, Inc. is based in the United States and may process browsing data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rest on the safeguards of Chapter V GDPR, in particular the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission and the Microsoft group's participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The visit statistics, by contrast, never leave the European Economic Area: GoatCounter's infrastructure sits with Hetzner Online GmbH, in Finland and Germany.
7. Retention
The controller retains no data that identifies you. The visit statistics remain available in aggregate form in the GoatCounter dashboard, and whatever could be traced back to a single visit is discarded within eight hours, as described in section 4. Retention periods for the technical logs are set by GitHub under its own privacy statement.
8. Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you have the right to request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
You can exercise these rights by writing to privacy@codingful.com. Bear in mind that, since the controller holds no data about you, the answer will in most cases be a confirmation that there is none.
If you believe the processing breaches the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority of your country of residence.
